As Chef is constantly changing our menu to keep with the freshest and best local produce available, it's very difficult to have 'Today's Menu' on our website, so we produce a sample menu from time to time to give you an idea of what we're cooking at the Saracen's at the moment. All dishes on the Sample Menu will have been or are about to appear on our blackboard.  In adition to this we are now have "Whats on the menu" where you will find a more up to date menu.


Click here to see our Spring sample menu.  The menu that you will see is a combination of dishes that have either recently been on the menu or will appear in the next few weeks.  This should be used to give you an idea of Marks style of cooking.


Please note that as of Sunday 10 November our bar and Restaurant will not be open on Sunday evenings or Monday Lunch until late April.  The exception will be on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.  for full details of our Spring Opening Times please click on the link below.

Every lunchtime from Tuesday to Saturday we offer a special 2 course lunch for the set price of £15.  Choose from a selection of three starters, which will always have a delicious home made soup, served with malted granary bread, and either a pate or terrine.  Our main courses as you can imagine are all wholesome and of course locally sourced. There will be fish and meat choices as well as somthing meat free!  Children are catered for with a selection of pasta, sausages and fish , or we can provide smaller portions of dishes on the main menus. you can choose from our main dessert board if you prefer to have a pudding instead of a starter! And of course if you want three courses, we wont stop you.   As well as the lunch selection there will be our main a la Carte menu on the blackboard to choose from if you want somthing more substantial. 





Every Sunday we have a special two or three course set price menu available.  Choose between 3 starters, 3 main courses (including a roast beef, pork and a veggie option) and a dessert from the board.  Two courses are £19.50 and three courses £24.50. Our beef is reared on Park farm in Blickling, whilst our lamb is from Wolterton Park, just on the otherside of the road, and the pork is sourced from Morley Farm at South Creek.  Sunday lunches are served from 12.30 to 2.30.  It is always advisable to book in advance.








Mothers Day Menu

We have put together a very special menu that Mum and all the family will love!  Bringing together some classics, like our twist on the Prawn Cocktail,  traditional Roast Rump of Blickling Reared Beef  and darned right delicious Banana and Toffee Sundae!!  There is also a special menu for the children.
